The Mysterious Benedict Society (Series Finale) – August 6
Based on the book series of the same name, The Mysterious Benedict Society is getting more and more intriguing with each new episode. The show follows four extraordinary children who have been selected by the oddball Mr. Benedict to help save the world from a terrible danger. Part mystery, part adventure and part dystopian thriller, the show is both entertaining and thought-provoking. Episodes are released every Friday with the finale coming out on August 6.
What If… ? (Series Premiere) – August 11
What if the Black Panther joined the Guardians of the Galaxy? What if Loki became the King of Asgard? The animated series What If… ? explores these and more questions in what is sure to be a wild and wacky exploration of the Marvel multiverse. Interestingly, the show’s creators have promised that each episode will have a different tone and genre, and because of the show’s imaginative, open-ended premise that doesn’t depend on prior knowledge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, What If… ? will likely appeal to Marvel fans and non-fans alike. Episodes will be released every Wednesday.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Series Finale) – August 13
The Star Wars animated series based on the exploits of an unconventional clone squad is coming to a close. In the immediate aftermath of the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch and their newest member, a smart, sensitive girl named Omega, go on adventures across the galaxy, helping those in need and avoiding capture by their enemies. The series is a fun adventure for Star Wars lovers of all ages. Episodes are released every Friday with the series finale set to be released on August 13.
Contagion – August 1
The 2011 film about a deadly virus that takes over the world may hit a little too close to home nowadays, but it features a solid, exciting storyline and strong acting performances from the likes of Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and more. The thrilling film may make you grateful that our own pandemic is not nearly as severe as the one onscreen.
Mirror, Mirror – August 1
This live-action 2012 adaptation of the classic tale Snow White is the perfect film for those with kids or those who just want to escape into a fairytale in their imagination. The film’s costumes and scenery are visually pleasing, and Julia Roberts plays the evil queen to perfection.
Only Murders in the Building (Series Premiere) – August 31
Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Martin Short play three people obsessed with true crime who happen to live in the same apartment building. When a murder is committed in their building, the unlikely trio must band together to investigate the crime without becoming victims themselves. The mystery series will blend comedy and drama and is sure to be immensely entertaining. Episodes will be released every Tuesday.

Untold – August 10
This series of documentary films will reveal the hidden stories behind some of sports’ most fascinating moments. From diving into the infamous brawl at the 2004 Pistons vs. Pacers basketball game to profiling the unique backstories of some notable professional athletes, the series promises to deliver engaging content and make you think more deeply about the people and stories behind the game. A new documentary will be released every Tuesday.
Beckett – August 13
In this action thriller, an American tourist (John David Washington) vacationing in Greece becomes a suspect after a tragic accident. He is forced to go on the run to escape the authorities and find a way to clear his name before it’s too late. The show figures to feature plenty of suspense and thrills, as well as beautiful Grecian scenery.
