The 1906R was first introduced back in 2009. It was New Balance’s pinnacle running shoe offering with 2000’s tech and material build reflective of the quality design at the time. Fast forward fourteen years, the 1906R has become one of the most sought after silhouettes from New Balance in today’s fashion world. New Balance and JD Sports worldwide came together to craft two globally exclusive styles. The first consists of primary white upper, metallic silver hits from toe to heel and gray accents amongst various parts of the shoe. Including the N-logo and heel cup.
The second colorway features various tones of gray with lighter hues throughout the upper, slightly darker and flat hits from toe to heel, and dark gray hits that can predominantly be seen on the heel cup and ABZORB sole.
In celebration of the launch, New Balance called on US International & Juventus Footballer, Tim Weah and rising hip-hop artist from D.C., redveil to introduce the sleek new colorways through their own personal lens.
