Thank you to our generous customers for helping us crush our goal of fundraising $500,000 for Special Olympics!
This past holiday season, our digital teams and stores collected donations for our 9th annual campaign benefiting Special Olympics.
The donations raised will provide free health screenings, coaches, mentors, and implementation of Unified Champion schools. These funds also support our Fit Forward program, where we provide Special Olympics athletes with thousands of properly fitted sneakers.
In order to receive the sneakers, athletes complete vision, dental and other health checks.
“One of the things I love most about Special Olympics is their focus on what can be achieved versus what cannot,” North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee Area Manager and fundraising captain Sheila Helmintoller said.
“Special Olympics is a great example of inclusion at its finest. The athletes’ respect for others and pursuit of excellence is a great example for all.”
