Team USA Dominates In FIBA World Cup Opening Round

Team USA cruised to a 110-62 win over Jordan, completing the group stage of the 2023 FIBA World Cup with a perfect 3-0 record. As expected, Team USA showed their strength and superiority in the opening three games; their 27-point victory over New Zealand in the opener was the closest margin of success, yet they still remained in control throughout the match. Led by an impressive all-round team performance, they were able to outplay their opponents with ease, dominating possession and dictating the pace of the game. After that, they maintained their dominance with a strong outing against Greece and a flawless performance against Jordan, heading into the next round with an impressive aura of confidence.

The United States has advanced to Group J for the round of 16, where they will face off against Lithuania and Montenegro in the second stage of group play. From the four remaining groups, the two teams that advance to the quarterfinals will be determined. Completing Group J will be the victor of the Greece-New Zealand game from Group C.
